Alexandra Picard and Michael Nicolella first performed together in 2012 when Alexandra premiered Michael’s work for soprano, guitar and orchestra entitled “The Flame of the Blue Star of Twilight” with the Northwest Symphony Orchestra. Following a live performance on KING-FM at the start of 2016, Michael and Alexandra began performing duo concerts featuring an eclectic array of music. Their concerts frequently range from 19th century lieder and 20th century classical works to Brazilian and American jazz and popular music
